Well today was something close! German Air Force 927, an Airbus A340-343X decided to some touch-and-go’s of their own here. It’s days like this that I love the view from my desk… okay, that’s pretty much every day regardless of the weather.

I have discussed this aircraft before so I’ll add this quick video that I caught with my iPhone4. The quality isn’t fantastic but I’m hoping to add some better video gear to my arsenal this Summer. So bear with me for now!

To add to all the activity today was the ever impressive AN-124 ‘Ruslan’ from the Antonov Design Bureau. Every time I see this bird take flight, I’m a little surprised to see the wheels pull away from the tarmac.

If only this weather was going to last! Unfortunately once again we’re waiting for a liberal dose of snow.
